Adeem the Artist

  • Midtown Memphis - Address provided to confirmed guests 38112 United States (map)

We're going back to our roots! This house show is invite-only for our supporters, subscribers, sponsors, and their guests. We will not be at Crosstown for this one; the exact Midtown address will be provided to confirmed guests.  RSVP now!

A suggested donation of $25+ per attendee can be made when you RSVP.

Harvested in the roaming hills of the lower piedmont mountains, Adeem the Artist (they/them) reimagines the soundscape of the greater American South. In short bursts of literary folk songs that draw inspiration from a full library of greater Roots sounds, Adeem traverses the complexities of political, racial violence and disparate realities with humor and elasticity.

Frenetic & electrifying; their live performances nest in the intersection of stand-up comedy, social commentary, and well-seasoned country songs that follow the likes of Tyler Childers in expanding the genre. Their thematic albums and confounding one-person-show invite audiences to lead with curiosity, disarm their expectations, and warm up to the dialogue.

We’re just over the moon to welcome Adeem for a special solo performance in this extra-connected setting. Y’all come on out!

About Folk All Y'all: Intimate, attentive performances by exceptional singer-songwriters, proudly presented in Memphis, Folk All Y'all is a public, nonprofit listening room series supported by our pledges from our community … but sometimes we go back to the house.

Entry requirements may change but your RSVP indicates acceptance of any necessary health policy.
