"How Did You Find Me Here?"

"Now inches from the water, about to disappear, I feel you behind me. How did you find me here?"     - David WilcoxOur April 30th show with David Wilcox brought back old friends and introduced us to new ones. Many of our guests had joined us in November, but we also had a large contingent of folks that were here for the first time. It was hard to tell who was who, however, since everyone melded together into one big harmonizing family almost immediately. Bringing Dave to Memphis was the reason Folk All Y'all was created in the first place, so it was especially moving to have him return and help us expand our meaning and purpose.For me, the highlight of the evening was David's performance of "How Did You Find Me Here?" which included an interlude where he explained the origins of the song and then perfectly wove into our reason for gathering.
